Terms of service

Version 2026-10-04 · Optima

1. The service

Optima ("we") provides Pharmacy BI: dashboards, reports and a mobile app built on the data in your pharmacy's own point-of-sale system. We read that system; we never write to it or change it.

2. Your account and your users

You are responsible for the people you give access to, for what they do, and for keeping passwords private. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your data

Your pharmacy's data is yours. We use it only to provide the service to you. We do not sell it or share it with another pharmacy or any third party, unless the law requires us to. Each pharmacy's data is kept separate from every other's.

4. Subscription and payment

The service is a subscription paid in advance for the agreed plan. When a paid period ends, the service stays available for three days with a renewal notice; after that sign-in stops until you renew. Your data is kept, and kept up to date, in the meantime.

5. Accuracy

The figures shown are derived from what is recorded in your point-of-sale system, and depend on that being correct and reachable. Reports are an aid to decisions, not a substitute for your accounting records or for the advice of a qualified accountant or pharmacist. Automatically generated medicine information is for reference only and is not medical advice.

6. Availability

We take reasonable care to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Data can be delayed when the pharmacy's computer is off or the connection is down.

7. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the service in the three months before it, and we are not liable for indirect loss or lost profit.

8. Ending the service

You may end your subscription at any time by telling us. On request we give you a copy of your data; we keep it for thirty days after the end and then delete it permanently.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. For any material change we ask for your agreement again before you continue.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Libya, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
